Spencer Gray

Spencer Gray

My name is Spencer Gray, and I’m a guitarist and singer from Florence SC. The first instrument I learned to play was the drumset. My dad played at the church we went to and I followed behind him. Playing in the church band from a young age, I grew to love playing live music.

When I was in the 10th grade I started playing the guitar. I started listening to The Avett Brothers and wanted to emulate what I heard. From there, I developed a deep respect and taste for Folk music and its associated genres like Bluegrass, Country and Americana. When I progressed enough with the guitar, I started leading music at my church. Going to school at USC in Columbia I became the worship leader for my college ministry and was a music intern at my local church. Since then I’ve been playing around Columbia and Greenville by myself and with my friends.

I love music that relaxes people and lets them have a good time. My hope is that when you listen to me play, you’re able to enjoy yourself and the company of your friends. Some of the artists I cover are The Avett Brothers, Watchhouse, John Prine, Tyler Childers, Caamp, and the Grateful Dead. I hope to see you around!

It went on to be chosen by American Songwriter Magazine as a Top 24 Album of the Year, was named “Album of The Year” in The Greenville Journal, and was chosen #6 in the Favorite Albums of the Year Reader’s Poll on Americana Highways. It has earned rave reviews in No Depression, Americana UK, Glide Magazine and more. Her 5th album, “Common Law Wife”, went all the way to number 1 on the Roots Music Report Americana Country Airplay Chart, and remained in the top 5 on that chart for nearly 2 months, closing the year out as #12 on the top 100 albums. Her 2nd album, “BlackTop Road”, produced by Will Kimbrough, remained on the Americana top 40 airplay chart for 7 weeks, and was chosen as a top pick in both Oxford American and Country Weekly. The Boston Herald named her song “The Picture” “Best Political Country Song” in their Year’s best music picks. WNCW chose Angela’s live performance of the title song on “Common Law Wife” for Volume 20 of their popular “Crowd Around the Mic” series.  Angela's music was featured in commercials (Southwestern Bell) and several of her songs were used in the series "Horsepower" on Animal Planet. She has appeared on the WSM-hosted stage at the CMA Music Festival/Fan Fair, on the nationally broadcast public radio program “Michael Feldman’s Whad’Ya Know”, the popular ETV show “Making It Grow”, Sirius XM Outlaw Country’s “Buddy and Jim Show” with Buddy Miller and Jim Lauderdale, “The Martha Bassett Show”, and was also interviewed by noted NPR journalist Bob Edwards. In 2019, Angela had the distinct honor of performing her song, “Isaac Woodard’s Eyes” at the unveiling ceremony of an historical marker in honor of the late civil rights hero, Sgt. Isaac Woodard.

Angela has toured the U.S., both solo and duo with Brandon, as well as with her crowd-pleasing band The Beguilers. Taylor Corum and Rhys Hester Duo Band

Taylor Corum and Rhys Hester Duo Band

Taylor Corum’s songs do what country music ought to always do:
tell a good story.

With one foot on the ground and one off a cliff, the Knoxville, Tennessee, native weaves songs from roots country influence and a fair helping of life lessons. With his 2017 studio EP, The Cloud Peak Wilderness, Corum cracked open a sentimental vein and set it to freewheeling acoustic sounds. His 2021 record, Peace on the Plains, pulls that sentimental thread and spins it stronger, expanding into thick and spacious rhythms.

With every new tune, Taylor Corum proves to be a storyteller whose unapologetically classic style shoots straight from the heart.

Super stoked Rhys Hester will be joining Taylor tonight!

Vinyl Night

Vinyl Night

Vinyl Night - Thursday nights will be our Vinyl Night here at the brewery.

How it works- bring a record to spin (keep it clean-ish we have some young guests sometimes) and we’ll play one side of it on our turntable.

We will also have a crate set up for a record swap. This is simply take an album, leave an album. We just ask that it is in very good playing condition (no one wants your warped Kenny G record ). We’ll donate the first handful of records to kick things off.

Want to bring a record that you’d like to trade for something specific? No problem! Bring it with you and maybe someone else will bring something that you are interested in and you can trade amongst yourselves.

Last but not least- each week we will be raffling off a record! So rather you bring a record to play or one to swap, you will be entered in the raffle! Want an additional chance to win? Just make a $5 donation to our charity of the month and you’ll get an extra raffle ticket. Drawing will happen at 8:30 and you must be present to win.

Geoffrey Wood Acoustic and Salty Fry Food Truck

Geoffrey Wood Acoustic and Salty Fry Food Truck

Geoffrey Wood is an American singer-songwriter and musician based in Atlanta. The son of two musicians, Geoffrey grew up in a musical household and received a trumpet on his 5th birthday. He began teaching himself guitar in middle school and writing songs of his own shortly thereafter. After studying trumpet in college he began working as a freelance musician and educator.
In demand as a performer, composer and arranger he plays and writes for numerous groups in styles ranging from classical to jazz, funk and rock. While he was successfully creating music for other projects he found himself with a collection of material heavily influenced by some of the artists he grew up loving; Bob Dylan, The Band and Wilco. With no existing projects ready to cover that music, Geoffrey assembled a new band featuring Kelly McCarty on Bass, Rhett Huffman on Keys, Matt ‘Pistol’ Stoessel on Pedal Steel and Colin Agnew on Drums.  Over three days in January of 2023 his first solo album, Thank You was recorded at La Gazza Studio in Madison, GA. Agnew also produced, engineered and mixed the record. Named in tribute to the people and places that inspired his music, Thank You is a musical expression of gratitude for the journey that he’s had so far.

Also, joining us a new Greenville Food Truck, Salted Fry!
